Denise has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology from the University of Saskatchewan, a Bachelor of Social Work and a Master of Social Work both from the University of Regina. Denise has been a Clinical Social Worker since 2008. She has been in private practice since 2017. She has worked in a variety of areas including Medical Social Work, Criminal Justice System with youth and adults, working with intellectual disabilities, and as a mental health therapist. Denise’s focus during her Masters program was Family Systems Therapy, in particular separation, divorce, and blending families. Denise has received her Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 Gottman Couples Therapy Training, and has also completed Treating Affairs and Trauma., and Couples and Addiction Recovery. Denise is a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner and also provides Beginning Level Personal Sessions to students in Somatic Experiencing™.
