Denise Norris

Denise has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology from the University of Saskatchewan, a Bachelor of Social Work and a Master of Social Work both from the University of Regina. Denise has been a Clinical Social Worker since 2008. And in Private Practice since 2017. She has worked in a variety of areas including Medical Social Work, Criminal Justice System, Disabilities sector and most recently as a mental health therapist working with youth and their families. Denise’s focus during her Master of Social Work program was Family Systems Therapy, in particular separation, divorce, and blending families. Denise has received her Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 Gottman Couples Therapy Training. She has completed all requirements and received her Somatic Experiencing Practitioner and is approved to provide beginning sessions for students taking Somatic Experiencing™ training.
